The weekend of February 5th through the 7th, the brothers of the Omega Zeta chapter traveled to Philadelphia for the yearly AKPsi Principled Business Leadership Institute. Close to half of our chapter made the trip down to Philly (alumni attended as well), as well as over 400 brothers from chapters as far away as Manchester, England.

Recently, Greek Life put out a ranking of the fraternities and sororities on campus based on a variety of criteria. We’re proud to say that Alpha Kappa Psi ranked quite well. Most notably:
1) Highest GPA in all of Greek Life at Binghamton (Delta Sigma Pi and Alpha Kappa Psi were tied for first)
2) Most social of the Professional Fraternities
3) Number one in “Philanthrophy Dollars” among the Professional Fraternities

Fall 2009 has been one of Alpha Kappa Psi’s most successful semesters in fulfilling our core value of service. The community service committee has organized an amazing amount of events and service activities under the direction of our Brother, Janine Bautista. Member of Alpha Kappa Psi have displayed compassion and enthusiasm for improving the University and community. Overall, we have participated in over two hundred hours of community service and helped Binghamton University Greek Life raise $18,400 in the Fall 2009 semester alone.
